Residential Listings and Farms
“Location. Location. Location.” This is probably the best known, most used cliché related to real estate. It is also one of the most important things to keep in mind when you start the process that will ultimately lead to making a real estate decision.
Helping people buy homes, which sometimes includes homes with farmland, is the largest part of our business at Melloan Real Estate. There is only one thing that can’t be changed after a person buys a property—the location. You can build a building or tear one down. You can plant trees or cut them down. You can dig a pond or fill one up. But you can’t move the land. A long drive to work today will be a long drive every day until your work place changes. A quick trip to school will be a quick trip as long as the school stays put.
Here’s why it’s important for us to talk about location. First, you need someone who strongly understands the area. And second, you need that person to be willing to provide you with clear information about what a location is going to mean to your lifestyle. This includes information about schools, work places, shopping, health care, and recreation.
This is one of our greatest strengths at Melloan Real Estate. All of our agents have long term experience in our communities. We know what it’s like to get to work, get our children to school, get to the hospital, and get to sports activities and dance lessons.
Our job is more than selling homes. It includes helping people make homes in our community. We look forward to helping you.
